I just made a website for:Taxi Fiesta of Frederick Maryland http://taxifiestafrederick.com/
Although I speak Spanish fluently, this was my first Spanish Language Web Site!
Taxi Fiesta’s slogan rhymed in English, but the literal translation lost something… so I reworded it:
In English, Taxi Fiesta’s slogan: “The only number you need to know when you have someplace to go”
Using Google’s translator that slogan comes out to this: “El único número que necesita saber cuando tiene que ir en algún”
However, that didn’t rhyme, so I translated this phrase into Spanish:
“The single number you’ve got to give, when there is a place that must be!”
Which in Spanish… it flows off the tongue and rhymes to boot!
“El unico numero le tienen que dar, cuando hay un lugar que tiene que estar!”
English is a very literal descriptive language, English works well when describing science or scientific issues.. Spanish and the Romantic languages on the other hand are…
